PERFORMANCE

My interest in the body and corporeality in electronic music has led to an increasing focus on performed music and music as performance. I have explored this in various contexts, for example in  my solo performance Seeress in collaboration with live video artists alKamie.

SEERESS

Seeress is a collaboration with live video artists alKamie in a performance based on the Völva character from Völuspà, an old Norse saga. I perform solo with my feedback instrument which....                                                                                           read more

The artists....                                                                                                                                                                    read more

LIVE ELECTRONICS

Live electronics and voice from a concert in St Nicholas Church, Leicester, UK 17 July 2010.                                                                                                                                                  read more...

LIVE ART - PERFORMANCE ART

Starting with an invitation from The Ahhhness of Things live art & performance collective to join their performance The Earth Will Absolve Me, I have begun to explore performance

in a new context of live art and performance art. I see performance in the widest possible way, not tied to definitions but guided by a desire to explore processes and actions in front of an audience. The music emerges as much from movements and relations on stage as from any sounds these result in.
